12. Mobile App Permissions Disclosure

The Tarsoft Care mobile application requires the following device permissions to deliver its features. We only request permissions that are necessary for the Service to function properly.

12.1 GPS / Location Tracking

The app requests access to your device's GPS and location services to support attendance check-in/check-out, verify work-site presence, and enable location-based features. Location data is collected only during active use of relevant features and during designated working hours as configured by your employer. You may disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain app functionalities.

12.2 Camera Access

The app requests camera access to allow you to capture photos for task documentation, facility inspections, incident reporting, and profile picture uploads. Images captured through the app are uploaded securely to our servers and are accessible only to authorised personnel. We do not access your camera in the background or without your knowledge.

12.3 Storage / File Access

The app requests access to your device's storage to allow uploading of documents and images related to your tasks, and to save downloaded reports or attachments for offline viewing. We access only the files you explicitly select or that the app generates; we do not scan, read, or transmit any other files on your device.

12.4 Push Notifications

The app requests permission to send push notifications to keep you informed of task assignments, ticket updates, attendance reminders, and important system alerts. You may manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app's notification preferences.

13. Workforce Monitoring & Tracking Disclosure

Tarsoft Care is a workforce management platform used by organisations to manage their operations. As part of providing this Service, the following monitoring and tracking activities may be conducted as directed by your employer or the organisation that has deployed the Service:

13.1 Attendance Tracking

The app records your clock-in and clock-out times, attendance status, and work shift details. This data is used by your employer to manage scheduling, payroll, and compliance. All attendance records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised administrators within your organisation.

13.2 Location Tracking During Work

When configured by your employer, the app may record your GPS location at check-in and check-out points, or periodically during active work sessions, to verify your presence at designated work sites. Location tracking is only active during work-related activities and is not conducted outside of your configured working hours. You will be informed when location tracking is active.

13.3 Task and Ticket Activity Monitoring

Your interactions with tasks, work orders, tickets, and service requests within the app are recorded to provide an audit trail and to help your organisation measure productivity and service delivery performance. This includes timestamps of task updates, status changes, remarks submitted, and files uploaded. This information is used solely for operational management purposes by your employer.

14. Account Deletion & Data Removal Policy

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to the conditions below.

14.1 In-App Deletion Process

To delete your account, navigate to Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account within the app. You will be prompted to confirm your intent. Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion.

  • Personal profile data (name, email, phone, profile picture) will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
  • Operational records (attendance logs, task activity, ticket history) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law and as part of your employer's contractual obligations to us.
  • Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You will need to re-register if you wish to use the Service again.
  • If your account was created by an organisation (employer-managed account), the account deletion must also be approved by your organisation's administrator.
